Story:
Patrick had the typical low class upbringing you can imagine in the world of darkness. Abusive parents with addiction issues, estranged siblings and an uncaring social system. Patrick got past this by reading books and later, writing poetry. He got into the punk scene rather early and the dangers that came with it; violence, drugs, alcohol and angry music. One night he was reading his poetry to some friends in a street corner, when a special person walked by. This person was enthralled by the words this heroin addled punk was spouting and lost himself. The man, Adam, brought the youths to his apartment for a party and used this as an excuse to make sure this distant rebel was indeed the writer of these words and so much more. When he was convinced he saw the talent that was there and as the party died down he got the address of this young man. Somehow Adam got the permission to reform Patrick into a Kindred and so he did after another party. The young Patrick lost his hunger for heroin at the embrace and got the thirst for blood as a gift. He was shocked but happy.
