Johnny has had a bit of a rough patch lately. Health issues. Insurance issues as a result of those health issues. Money issues as a consequence of the insurance issues - which all resulted in some drinking issues.

Surprising everyone, however - keeping his job as an Animal Control agent never proved to be an issue at all. Maybe he just needed something to focus on? Because as of late, he’s arguably even better at his job than ever before. Almost aa if he’s able to talk the animals into letting him catch them. Crazy, right? And on top of that, he seems to be recuperating fast as well.

His employers couldn’t be happier - an health issue solved by working harder? AND he now wants to work more on-call nigh-time hours? Approve his odd working schedule, if he wants to work alone, then let him! He can even bring his dog along!
