Isabella Woods is a Neonate Salubri originally from the St. Louis area. Her and Helena's paths intertwined long before either of the twos embrace, with Arabella being a terminal cancer patient, and Helena being her doctor. Of course neither of them paid the other any mind before the embrace- to the both of them, it was just a routine at this point.
Isabella would be given a 'second chance' with her own embrace, being embraced a little bit before Helena was as a member of the Salubri. Isabella would leave the hospital, and hers and Helena's paths would cross again after only after the two of them had been embraced.
Helena would stumble across Isabella by chance during a routine midnight stroll, in the middle of Isabella being attacked by another vampire. Helena would assist Isabella in fending off the attacker, starting a blossoming and mutual friendship between the two. During their time in St. Louis, the two helped one another survive in the night, and the both of them opened up to one another as the others confidant. Isabella would teach Helena how to utilize Valeren, and in turn Helena would teach her medicine.
When Helena left the city, she also left Isabella behind, but they've still maintained a level of contact through a pair of burner phones the both of them still have.
