Name: Garry proudly calls it Laughing Stock
Description: A weathered Subaru Outback pulling a compact enclosed utility trailer. The car carries most of his everyday belongings: spare clothes, research notes, tools, maps, chargers, and several notebooks filled with connections only he fully understands. From the outside, it looks like the vehicle of a tired student, travelling investigator, or someone moving between temporary jobs.
The trailer is cramped, plain, and carefully modified for privacy. Its small sleeping space is lightproof, with a narrow mattress, heavy internal locks, and just enough room for Garry to sit upright among stacked boxes. A folding desk holds his laptop and case files, while photographs, receipts, and handwritten observations are kept in labelled folders rather than displayed openly. Nothing matches, and comfort was clearly secondary to mobility and concealment. Garry still considers it home because every object has a purpose, even when he occasionally forgets what that purpose was.
