The shop space is divided in half, front and back by a large linoleum countertop. A few feed behind the countertop floor to ceiling shelves provide a visual partition between the showroom and the workshop in the back.
The front of the shop features a variety of rugged and dependable home appliances from different eras available for sale, arrayed along the walls and down two 7 foot long display tables in the middle:
- electric clothes dryers
- refrigerators
- vacuum cleaners
- box fans, oscillating fans, ceiling fans
- a variety of CRT televisions
- kitchen appliances: stand mixers, blenders, hand mixers, toasters and toaster ovens, can openers, and electric carving knives
On the shelves behind the counter are all of the entertainment items
- both mechanical and electric typewriters
- classic battery powered hand held games (including several gameboy)
- computers (including a Commodore 64, an orange iMac, and an Atari ST)
- and computer peripherals (mechanical keyboards, a desktop scanner, etc.)
- game consoles (Atari 2600, NES, Sega II, and a Sony Playstation)
- software and media for these all: cartridges, disks, even data cassettes. Computer software features office and productivity apps and games.
Much of the equipment shows it's age, some plastics are irreversibly yellowed by UV or heat, but everything is cleaned up and reasonably polished. Everything works.
