A chronological record of mandates, edicts, and official declarations issued by the Barons of Nashville's Anarch Movement.

Mandate of Baron Natalie Harper, East Nashville

August 2024

To all who stand within our great Movement and to those beyond who respect our cause, I, Natalie Harper, with profound duty and anticipation, step forward as your new Baron of the Anarchs of East Nashville. This declaration is not only a claim of leadership but a commitment to our collective future.

I am honored to announce my trusted allies within the Movement who will help steer our course:

  • Warlord: M'Barca Al-Andalus
  • Sweeper: Cait Moody
  • Reeve: Shade
  • Emissary: Annika Harper

Our unity and strength demand clear guidelines to safeguard our well-being and freedom. These rules are not top-down edicts but mutual commitments ensuring our Movement's survival in secrecy and solidarity.

Effective immediately, the following rules are enacted within our domain:

  • No Unbound Ghouls: All ghouls must be properly bound, ensuring control and accountability.
  • No Irresponsible Embraces: The Barony would prefer the Movement to Embrace responsibly and be informed. The sire will be firmly responsible for the childer's actions.
  • No Violation of Turf: Respect for individual and communal territories is paramount; encroachments will be met with firm action.
  • No Unresolved Masquerade Breaches: We must swiftly and discreetly remedy any threats to preserve our collective safety.
  • No Representation Without Consent: Official representation of our Movement requires permission from the Barony to prevent unilateral actions.

These guidelines were crafted with key members of the Barony, reflecting our shared values and collective wisdom. Violations will be met with consequences befitting the gravity of the offense.

We will hold a Rant after midnight; there are crimes to address and justice to be dispensed. Do not think that a change of leadership means the absence of vigilance — you will answer for them.

Moving forward, this decree is about building a future where we can pursue freedom without fear. Let us unite under these rules as the foundation of our security and autonomy. Together, as a formidable collective under the night, we will not merely exist — we will prevail.

Internal Policies

My Brothers and Sisters of the Anarch Movement. I have come before you tonight to inform you all of several changes in policy, as well as to keep you informed of current events and the movement's current state of affairs.

Firstly, allow me to thank all of you for the chance to serve as your Baron. I will always endeavor to not take the confidence you have given me for granted.

Several rules shall be enacted:

  • There shall be no unbound ghouls within Anarch Territory, for the good of the Masquerade, which the Anarch Movement has sworn to uphold in the Status Perfectus.

  • You are free to embrace that which you choose. I was never a fan of the tradition of progeny. The kine do not ask their grandparents' permission to have children; just the same I do not expect you to ask mine. However, what I do ask is that the Sweeper is informed of any embraces made, so they may keep a proper census of the territory's population.

  • All territory acquired prior to my election will be respected. I shall not infringe upon it. All people are entitled to the sweat of their brow. However, enforcement of your turf's borders remains your own responsibility.

  • Poaching is an expressly forbidden behavior. Those found to engage in Poaching may be reported to the Reeve. The punishment for poaching shall be a gauntlet for a first offense; pulling of the offender's fangs for a second; and an indefinite sentence of imprisonment for a third.

  • No action representing the movement against another sect shall be taken without the express permission of the Baron. I am a man who values liberty, but I am not a man who values pure anarchy. We elect representation for a good reason.

  • Don't break the Masquerade.

Border Policy

The actions of Miguel, the Primogen of the Lasombra, are unforgivable. He came to our Crimson Pit — our place of gathering, our open hand to the Camarilla — and bit that hand. He drained our Warlord, Falk, and put him in torpor. It is my belief he did so as a provocation; that he wants war; that he wants to be prince. He used our open hand to sow discord and spread anti-anarch sentiment within the Camarilla so he can wrest control of his sect for himself.

We will not be made into scapegoats.

Until dialogue can be opened with the Camarilla's Prince, the following border policies are in effect:

  • The area surrounding the Crimson Pit is hereby declared Anarch Territory.

  • Miguel, Primogen of the Lasombra, is banned and declared suspect by the Anarch Movement. He is forbidden from entering Anarch domain. Should he violate this policy, he will be subjected to the Tantalus Box: placed in torpor, encased in cement to the shoulders, awakened, burned until he frenzies, and then buried at an undisclosed location for one hundred years.

  • All kindred of Clan Lasombra who count themselves among the Camarilla are restricted from entering Anarch Territory unless they submit a request to the Emissary and pass a thorough background check. Violators will face the gauntlet.

  • All title-holding members of the Camarilla are forbidden from entering Anarch territory without an invitation or an approved request to the Emissary.

  • Reporting offenders carries rewards: twenty thousand dollars (USD) and a Minor Boon from the Baron.

Defense Policy

  • There is to be no unprovoked attack on any member of another sect.
  • Verbal provocation alone does not constitute just cause for a kindred of sound mind.
  • Verbal provocation that induces frenzy constitutes just provocation.
  • Physical assault constitutes provocation — including intentional physical harm, unwanted physical contact, threatening to apply force, or carrying a weapon.

Our defensive posture is officially declared: Defensive — retaliate with equal or otherwise justified force. Leave us in peace, and we shall too leave you in peace.

Pertinent Issues

  • Our Warlord remains in torpor. Any who manage to awaken, or facilitate the awakening of the Warlord, shall receive sixty thousand dollars (USD) and a Major Boon from the Baron personally.

  • The Nashville Airport remains plagued by hunters. Many anarchs have lost their unlives. I aim to put together a task force; please approach me if you are interested.

  • The Sons of Anarchy remain short on members. I encourage any Anarchs without a coterie to seek out our Reeve, Isaiah.

On the Question of Ghouls

  1. The ghouling of mortals is legal in the turf of North Nashville.
  2. A ghoul can be bonded to the extent that their domitor sees fit.
  3. If a domitor meets final death, any ghoul in their service must be destroyed to protect the Masquerade. This is subject to case-by-case review. 4a. Any lick that damages another's ghoul must pay 2 Trivial boons to the offended domitor, plus a Trivial boon to the Baron. 4b. The murderer of a ghoul must pay a Minor boon to the offended domitor and a Minor boon to the Baron.
  4. No escaped ghouls from Camarilla service may enter North Nashville without proof of their domitor's death or the breaking of their bond.

The Commando Clause: Any ghoul from outside the Movement found within recognized Anarch turfs who is suspected of sabotage, espionage, or illicit activities against the Movement shall be killed without warning.

This mandate is enforced in North Nashville and any Anarch territory in the purview of Baron Cade. Kindred outside of the Movement may be eligible to its protections if their sect has recognized equivalent penalties within their own laws. All cases shall be handled by the authority of the Baron.

On the Thin-Blood Question

  1. Thin-blooded licks are hereby recognized as Kindred by the Baron of North Nashville. 2a. Any anarch caught hunting thin-bloods in North Nashville or the purview of the Baron shall pay a Minor boon to the surviving thin-blood and an additional boon to the Baron. 2b. Any lick from outside the Movement caught hunting thin-bloods in Anarch territory shall be put to death.
  2. Any thin-blood caught collaborating with organized hunters shall be put to death.
  3. Any thin-blood caught subverting the movement or in the employ of any active enemy shall be put to final death.

Any thin-blood in Nashville seeking succor may request a meeting with the Baron. All matters shall be handled per individual Kindred or gang and may be subject to a future tithe.

Barony Mandate of Derrick Griffith, East Nashville

January 2026

By right of claim and by right of possession and defense, I, Derrick Griffith, do hereby declare and establish myself Baron of the domain known as East Nashville.

This claim is made not by inheritance, not by appointment of any foreign court, and not by the indulgence of the Camarilla — but by presence, by survival, and by the necessity of lawful rule in contested territory.

From this night forward, East Nashville is constituted as a sovereign Anarch Barony, free of Tower hypocrisy, free of selective tradition, and free of any authority not recognized by its Baron.

I. On the Nature of the Domain

East Nashville shall be a domain of accountability, not fear. No Kindred within this territory shall be required to kneel, submit, or offer tribute in exchange for the right to survive. Power shall answer to law. Law shall answer to the Baron. The Baron shall answer to the stability and survival of the domain.

II. On Appointed Officers

  • Yamada, Reeve of East Nashville — vested with authority to enforce the peace, investigate violations of domain law, and act in the Baron's name in matters of judgment, detention, and defense. His rulings, when issued under Baronial warrant, carry the force of law.

  • Code Red, Emissary of the Barony — authorized to speak for this domain to allies, enemies, and all external powers. Her words in official capacity represent the policy and intent of this Barony. To disregard her authority is to disregard the Baron's own.

  • Percy, Sweeper of East Nashville — charged with identifying and removing threats to this domain, its people, or its sovereignty. Those pursued by the Sweeper are deemed to have violated domain law. No warning shall be presumed.

III. On Sanctuary and Jurisdiction

East Nashville is a safe domain for Anarchs and Independents. Those who seek refuge, honest trade, or the right to exist without coercion shall be protected under Anarch Law. Those who bring violence, domination, extortion, or Tower politics into this territory shall not be tolerated.

No servant, agent, or squatter of the Camarilla may hold haven, influence, or sanctuary within this domain without the Baron's explicit consent. No hidden havens. No quiet arrangements with foreign courts.

There shall be no persecution of Thinbloods in this domain over their nature or existence. This is a safe space for all kindred who seek the protection of the Anarch Movement, regardless of generation. Retainers shall have a voice; their individuality shall be maintained.

IV. On Oppression and Survival

This Barony is founded to end the quiet oppression that passes for order.

  • No neonate shall be sold to purchase peace.
  • No Kindred shall be sacrificed to protect the powerful.
  • No invisible chains shall decide who is permitted to survive.
  • No new bonds are to be formed in this domain. Old ones will be maintained, managed, and tolerated.

In this domain, survival is not a privilege granted by elders. It is a right enforced by law.

V. On Obedience and Departure

All who claim haven, business, or influence within this territory are subject to domain law. You are not required to embrace the Anarch Movement. You are not required to swear personal loyalty to the Baron. You are required to respect the sovereignty of this domain and to refrain from acting against it.

VI. On Current Relations and Hostilities

The anarchs do hereby proclaim that all current hostilities against the Camarilla and its persons are ended. We proclaim this as a show of good faith; the ban upon travel to Camarilla domains is lifted. However, this does not apply to acts of self-defense. Should any Kindred under the banner of the Movement be attacked, they have the right to preserve their own freedom and body as they see fit.

Those who cannot accept this may depart in peace. Those who violate it shall be removed.

This mandate stands as binding notice to all Kindred. Respect the domain. Respect its people. Or leave.

Derrick Griffith Baron of East Nashville

Mandate Regarding Isadora

March 2026

By right of claim and by right of protection and defense, I, Derrick Griffith, Baron of East and North Nashville, hereby decree the following:

Isadora of Clan Banu Haqim, former Sheriff of the Camarilla Court of Nashville, is to be presented to the Baron under accusation of:

  1. Invading the haven of the Baron's coterie without invitation, violating the Second Tradition of Domain.
  2. Taking an unwilling ghoul who stood under the protection of the Baron of East and North Nashville.
  3. By doing this while holding two Minor Boons owed by the Baron's coterie, Isadora has forfeited those Boons — they are null and voided until the matter is resolved.

Therefore, I hereby declare:

  1. Isadora, former Sheriff of the Camarilla Court of Nashville, is Shunned by the Anarchs.
  2. Isadora is to be brought to the justice of the Baron to answer for her crimes.
  3. Should that not be possible, I call for a Blood Hunt against Isadora within Anarch territories. Any kindred is given the right to hunt her down. Should her immobilization be impossible, the kindred is free to destroy her.

We will not stand for this type of injustice in our turf — especially not from a Tower lick.
