Alyssa Demner was born in Montreal in 1971 into a strict religious family, but she rebelled against these constraints as a teenager, immersing herself in the underground metal scene. Her powerful voice and stage presence earned her a place in the band "Shadowlands," where she became known for her mesmerizing performances. Her lifestyle, marked by indulgence in alcohol, drugs, and the occult, attracted the attention of Annika Eventide, a vampire who offered her immortality.
