Miguel Santos de Oliveira

Big Ounce · 2025-05-21

Clan: Lasombra
Sect: Camarilla
Generation: 10th
Apparent Age: Early Thirties
True Age: 120
Nationality: Brazilian

Notable Advantages

Stunning: Miguel's appearance commands attention, his presence a blend of raw power and alluring beauty. The Lasombra once had deep, warm brown skin, but as he struggles to cling to his humanity, it's slowly but surely beginning to take on a deathlike pallor. His black hair, wild and unruly, cascades over his forehead and down the sides of his face, which alongside his 5 o'clock shadow gives him a perpetually disheveled appearance. Miguel’s incredible physique is a testament to both his vampiric prowess and mortal muscles built from working long nights at The Port of Rio de Janeiro before the embrace.

Status (Lasombra): Not too long ago the magister was near the bottom of the totem pole in regards to his clanmates in Rio, where he worked to keep the Sabbat in charge of the city's criminal element as a King of Shadow. After defecting to the Camarilla and recently arriving in Nashville, however, he's managed to make a name for himself by taking charge of his peers and having a domain recognized by the local prince.

Status (Camarilla): Miguel was one of the first to jump ship to the Camarilla when the Friends of the Night decided to abandon the Sword of Caine, and after turning in his former pack priest to the recently crowned prince of Mexico City, he's managed to earn a bit of recognition from the Tower after working as an enforcer, and more recently, as the leader of his clan in Nashville.

On Fiorenza's List: Fiorenza Savona is the rising star of the Ventrue clan, and once Mexico City fell to the Camarilla, she took over as its prince. Miguel swore fealty to her after making the prerequisite sacrifice, and for several years worked as one of her personal enforcers; when it was time for him to leave and make a name for himself elsewhere, he cashed in the boons and other favors he was owed to get assistance from Nicholas Page, one of the blueblood's ghouls, as well as some assistance that got him settled in the city of music. The financially savvy ghoul, naturally, remains loyal to his domitor and sends reports on Miguel's activities to her when he can, but has recently developed a healthy fear of his current employer.

Notable Flaws

Humanity 4: All kindred are monsters, even those that try their best to remain human. Although his connection to the Abyss is a weak one, Miguel has called upon its power on an almost nightly basis since his arrival, and it's taking a toll on his already damned soul. Without the blush of life it's obvious that he's nearing the point of no return, and even with it, mortals find his presenve very unsettling.

Organvore: Miguel is one of the rare few among Cainites that can't get by with just the blood of mortals; he also needs their flesh and innards to survive. This fact is why he was denied a future among the Corsairs of his clan, and forced to remain bound to the land.

Shunned (Sabbat): As a member of the Sabbat the keeper was never truly regarded well by his peers; Miguel was one of the Lasombra tasked with maintaining his humanity and taking care of mortals on the clan's behalf, and thus was an outcast on the best of nights. He truly earned the sect's hated when he ambushed both his pact priest and his sire, the ductus of The Bastards of the Gulf, and sacrificed them so he could join the Camarilla.

Reason for Leaving: After being recognized as Primogen within the city of Nashville, Miguel was summoned by the Friends of the Night and returned to his home city of Rio de Janeiro. His current whereabouts and fate are unknown.
