Notable History: Melinda Morgan, born in 1743 in Glasgow to English parents, grew up as an outsider and learned early to read danger and survive through caution and observation. After a troubled marriage ended in her husband’s murder at the hands of the Kindred Patrick MacDonald, she was forced into a century of servitude as his ghoul before being Embraced, only to emerge as a Caitiff, lacking his expected lineage but developing a keen sensitivity to blood and intent. Escaping her sire, she spent decades moving between cities, embedding herself in Kindred society through information and subtle manipulation while concealing her nature. Over time, her experiences, especially during periods of conflict, led her to join the Order of Repentants, where she redirected her talents toward preventing others from falling to the Beast.

Suspect(Anarchs) Attribute+Politics DC4 Melinda Morgan has been around for a very long time, and that's what makes people nervous. She isn't particularly wealthy, she doesn't command a gang, she doesn't seem attached to any major faction, and yet she keeps turning up in new cities with a roof over her head, people willing to talk to her, and enough information to stay ahead of trouble. Kindred disappear. Domains collapse. Barons rise and fall. Through it all, Morgan endures. Maybe she's just exceptionally cautious. Maybe she's smarter than most people give her credit for. Or maybe she's got friends, favours, or arrangements she keeps hidden. Whatever the truth is, plenty of Kindred have come to the same conclusion over the years: nobody survives that long without backing from somewhere.
