Description: This mountain of a man wearing leather jackets, white t-shirts, jeans and boots makes himself notably, unmistakably attached to the Rabble.

He grew up around the suburbs of Chicago, surrounded by the great outdoors of Illinois. Even with his enormous size, he never stood out too much. Mainly because he kept himself as secluded as possible. To the point of leaving home to live in the woods by the time he was 18.

But man doesn't live on bread alone.

Eventually, he found the biker scene, befriending some gangs on bars he worked as a bouncer at. Mainly around Gary, Indiana. He still lived in the woods, though, and that proved to be his undoing.

His sire, Alaric Blake, hunting in the woods one night, caught Derrick's attention. The 30 year old man fought back as much as he could, but there was little to be done against the Scourge of the, at the time, Prince Lodin of Chicago. Once drained, he was embraced for his strength and buried until the next night. Once awake, his sire beat him up for standing up to him once awake and took him to Chicago to be introduced to the Court.

Derrick spent several years since his embrace in the Court of Chicago, unliving through Lodin's Final Death and the rise of Kevin Jackson. He was even forced to deal with undesirables. Eventually, he was tasked to deal with Juggler and his goons. That didn't go well for the Camarilla, as exposure to Anarchs lead to Derrick becoming an Anarch himself. After fleeing with the help of his new friends, he wondered the land, eventually landing in Nashville. He served as Baron of the East and North for a while, before leaving the city for a few months.

Status (Gangrel):

1.DC 4: It is said that Derrick descends from the former Justicar for Clan Gangrel, Xaviar. Just like him, the Wolf of Chicago spent many days buried in the earth. It is rumoured that he communed with the essence of the clan's founder, as he tends to say that something spoke to him in those nights. However, it's not yet known what he saw or heard.

1. DC 4: Derrick Griffith is one of the most stalwart defenders of his clan, going so far as to permit any member of the clan to stay under his protection, no matter the sect they belong to. He does tend to have a hatred for those Gangrel that stayed in the Camarilla, despising them as mere guard dogs and a shame to the Clan of the Beast. This hatred goes further for his sire, Alaric Blake, who he has a policy of kill-on-site.

Status (Anarch):

1. DC 3: Derrick has spent most of his time post exodus from Chicago helping several Anarch Bastions across the United States. Namely, he has assisted in smaller rebellions in San Francisco, Las Vegas and Los Angeles. It is said that wherever the rebellious howl for help, the Daredevil Wolf is there to assist.

2. DC 3: Derrick has served as Baron in Nashville before. He was known for trying for diplomacy while not shying away from war. He disappeared without saying a word, leaving his Barony without his defense. Nobody knows what happened for certain besides those that were with him, but many just put it down as some Gangrel instinct to wander. Others posit that he pursued his sire to kill him.

3. DC 3: As a Baron, Derrick enacted policies to make thinbloods and ghouls have more rights in the world of kindred. He gave them voices to be heard and heeded their council. However, it is unknown if the reasons for this were entirely selfless. Or if he had some grand plot to use them against his enemies.

1. DC 5: After leaving Chicago, Derrick left a mark on the city. As he fled to Gary, Indiana, it is said that he fell a hound and several ghouls sent to neutralise and bring him back to Jackson's court. None of the pursuers returned alive. Only a box of ashes was delivered to Jackson himself. With regards from Derrick.
