Name: Adrien
Clan: Toreador
Sect: Camarilla
Apparent age: Late 20's
Height: 6'
Notable Traits: Status 1: Neonate, Toreador, Looks: Stunning
Description: ** Adrien de Montfaucon appears to be a handsome Frenchman in his early thirties, standing just over six feet tall with an effortless elegance that seems more natural than cultivated. Dark wavy hair frames aristocratic features that might have belonged to a portrait hanging in some forgotten European gallery, while pale gray-blue eyes carry a perpetual hint of amusement, as though he is quietly enjoying a joke known only to himself. His clothing is immaculate without appearing ostentatious, favoring tailored suits and understated luxury that somehow draw attention without demanding it.

The Keeper Doesn't Seem New
Skill: Politics DC5
Adrien de Montfaucon arrived in Nashville presenting himself as another young Toreador looking for a place in the Tower. Since becoming Keeper, some have begun to question that assumption. He handles Primogen, protocol, and the politics of Elysium with the ease of someone who's done this before.
Someone Has Seen That Face Before
Skill: Insight DC5
Every so often, an older Kindred reacts strangely to Adrien. Not recognition exactly—more the uncomfortable sense that something about his expressions, mannerisms, or voice belongs to someone they met a very long time ago.
The Vollgirre Have Heard of Him
Skill: Occult DC5 for Vollgirre, DC7 for others
Among Kindred familiar with the descendants of Baron Vollgirre, there are stories of a shapeshifter who has spent decades at a time wearing identities that were eventually abandoned. Whether de Montfaucon is that Kindred, one of their descendants, or simply benefiting from the association is unclear.
The Missing Toreador
Skill: Occult DC5
An obscure story among older European Toreador concerns a Kindred who disappeared sometime during one of Europe's periods of upheaval. The last person reliably associated with them was another Rose whose identity subsequently vanished as thoroughly as the victim did. Some versions say the two were lovers. Others say rivals. The ugliest version says only one of them walked away because only one soul remained between them.
He Has Been Other People
Skill: Investigation DC5
There are occasional references in private Kindred correspondence to individuals who resemble Adrien in everything except the things that should matter: different names, different sexes, different appearances, sometimes even different apparent nationalities. None can be connected to him through mortal records.
Cecilia Made Him
Skill: Politics DC5
Adrien's rise in Nashville was suspiciously fast: he arrived as an unknown Toreador, attached himself to Primogen DeLuca, helped establish Elysium, and emerged as Keeper just as she claimed Praxis. Some Kindred think his success has considerably more to do with Cecilia's patronage than either of them cares to admit.
Montfaucon May Be the Mask
Skill: Insight DC5
The strangest rumor about Adrien isn't that he uses false identities. Plenty of Kindred do. It's that Adrien de Montfaucon may simply be another one of them.
